Why should I use Tri Team Transport instead of flying my bike?
If you send your bike with airlines, you would need to do the following:
- You would need to purchase, rent, or borrow a bike-case.
- You have to dismantle and put your bike back together when you get there, hoping you measured it all correctly.
- You have to worry about how the airline will handle your bike and if it is going to get to your destination on time.
- Most airlines charge more to check in your bike case.
- You have to rent an SUV or any other large vehicle to carry your bike around, which will cost you more money.
Why is my event not listed on the schedule of events page?
Unfortunately, we cannot serve every event. We are growing our business and hope to add more races in the near future. If you are part of a large group that is training for a race not on our schedule, please let us know so that we can consider adding your race to our schedule.
Why should I use Tri Team Transport?
We provide better customer service and your bike and race essentials are handled with the utmost care when transported in our custom team bike trailer.
Do I have to dismantle my bicycle and how can I leave my bike transported with Tri Team Transport?
No dis-assembly is required. You can leave race wheels, hydration systems, nutrition and spare tube pouches all on the bike. Shoes can even be left on the bike if you feel comfortable enough to do so, but please let us know ahead of time.
Where will I find Tri Team Transport at my event destination?
You can find all race logistics including pick up point at your event venue when clicking on your race on the Tri Team Transport home page. We will also be sending out a personal email to you with all the logistics on drop off and pick up one week prior to drop off. I will always have my phone and can be reached at 512-496-4156 if you still cannot find our whereabouts.
I will not be able to attend my race, what is your refund policy?
Cancellation and refund policy: You can always choose to rollover your reservation to another race that Tri Team Transport serves within the calendar year or receive a 100% refund (less PayPal fees) if you cancel your race plans and notify us in writing within a minimum of 45 days advance before your scheduled event. After that, Tri Team Transport will honor a 50% refund (less PayPal fees). Please contact us if you have any special circumstance.
When do I drop off my bike at the Partner Bike Shop?
Drop off and pick up times are listed on the logistics page which you will find when you click on your race on the home page. This info will also be sent to you one week prior to the drop off day in a personal email.
